Bringer of Light Holistic Health proudly offers a number of educational opportunities for healthcare professionals and others who are interested in living a healthy lifestyle and learning to use natural, complementary and integrative methods for illness prevention and healing.
Classes
“Holistic Health for You and Your Patients” ~ a two day workshop for registered nurses and other healthcare professionals. Also appropriate for all who are interested in holistic health and healing. This is an introductory class, which focuses on the eight pillars of holistic health and provides both didactic training and active practical exercises for a variety of integrative therapies.

“Meditate to Health and Wellness” ~ a one day experiential workshop designed to provide training in Meditation. It includes classroom training on the principles of energy, the energy centers of the body and many opportunities to experience meditation for relaxation, healing, and multi-functional guided imagery.

“Aromatherapy, an Invitation to Better Living” ~ a one day introductory class on the principles and purpose of aromatherapy, practical and esthetic uses of aromatherapy blends, sampling and use of aromatherapy to modify personal energy and mood. Includes an aromatherapy kit for beginners.
Instructors
Jean Lynch, RN, MHA is registered nurse with a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration. She has over 30 years of nursing and holistic health experience. She is a candidate for a PhD in Holistic Health and is seeking certification in aromatherapy through The Institute of Integrative Aromatherapy. Ms. Lynch is a Certified Nurse Educator and a member of the National Association of Aromatherapy (NAHA) and the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA).
Dr. Lucy Rojo, a naturopathic doctor with a private practice in Long Beach, California, focuses on digestive ailments, family medicine including the co-management of health in people facing the challenge of cancer and the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. She uses intravenous nutritional therapies, bio-identical hormones and nutrients for a variety of health challenges. Dr. Rojo is a certified teacher who actively trains for the supplement company, nutraMetrix, and has instructed medical students and US Navy medical personnel. |
